The Sidings provides a relaxed and welcoming environment, accommodating over 100 guests without feeling crowded. Flexible seating arrangements can be tailored to match the tone and size of any celebration of life. Whether you're planning an informal gathering or a larger reception, we'll work with you to create a fitting occasion.

Our spacious restaurant and function room comfortably accommodates up to 120 guests, making it ideal for larger family gatherings.
The Carriage
For smaller, more intimate gatherings, our beautifully restored first-class restaurant carriage provides a unique and peaceful setting for up to 20 guests. Perfect for close family or private remembrance gatherings.

Catering to Suit Your Family
Whether you'd like a simple buffet or refreshments for guests after the service, we'll help you choose an option that's right for your gathering. All our food is freshly prepared on-site by our dedicated kitchen team. We provide customisable menus to suit all dietary needs, cultural traditions and budgets:
- Traditional Funeral Teas — Freshly cut artisan sandwiches, warm savouries, and homemade cakes.
- Hot & Cold Buffets — Generous, elegant displays featuring locally sourced ingredients.
- Comfort Food & Refreshments — Hearty options paired with unlimited hot drinks.
A range of additional refreshments are also available, including wines, beers and ales, soft drinks, teas and coffees, and non-alcoholic options. If you have any allergies or special requests, our team will be happy to help.
Venue Hire
There is no room hire charge when your wake includes 40 or more guests purchasing our buffet menu.
